Dune Castle Presents… Wormhole by Evening News, a driving slice of instrumental electronica performed by the new moniker of instrumental dance/electronica group formerly known as Beatnik Collective.

Evening News is a Melbourne-based instrumental dance/electronica group. Drawing from experience curating dance floor music in both a live and DJ setting, the group incorporate House and Nu-Jazz sounds with the sonic breadth of Jungle and 2 Step. Influenced by artists like Squarepusher, Apex Twin and u-Ziq, the 4-piece have meticulously honed their craft on dance floors around Melbourne.

Wormhole is the first look into the sonically lush and rhythmically fierce world of Evening News. Ethereal synthesis sings in the beginning of the piece before a four to the floor kick establishes an undeniable pulse, only to continue to build as this track burns hot. Futuristic synth leads and bubbling sequencers provide the bed upon which this 4-piece lies.
